HOW YOU CAN HELP

Freddick Bratcher and Company relocated to St. Augustine, Florida and is currently on hiatus. Starting in February, director Freddick Bratcher, will begin teaching classes to the public at the Company's new studio home. The Company is seeking partners and strong supporters of the arts to help bring its unique and innovative dance theatre styles to venues throughout North Florida. WAYS TO GIVE

  • INDIVIDUAL AND CORPORATE DONORS help fund the various season performances and activities, as well as artistic and educational outreach programs.

  • ADVERTISEMENT PROGRAM is an affordable way of reaching patrons who attend the season concert series performances. Audiences who attend the acclaimed Freddick Bratcher and Company performances are sophisticated, culturally conscious individuals with a taste for fine entertainment.

  • IN-KIND PROGRAM includes contributions of discounted and free services by individuals and businesses to offset general operating expenses such as printing, marketing, office supplies, and dance costumes.

  • VOLUNTEER PROGRAM offers individuals with the opportunity to contribute of their time and resources for services such as fundraising, advertising, and marketing.

  • Discuss the tax advantages of offering in-kind contributions and volunteer services with your financial advisor.

WHY GIVE

FREDDICK BRATCHER AND COMPANY is seeking support from individual and corporate donors to help fund the production of year round performances in our new home of St. Augustine, Florida. Your financial support is needed for the Company to attract talented dancers and to present world-class dance to the community.

Your support will also help the Company achieve its long-term goals:

  1. maintain a group of full-time, on-staff professional dancers twelve months a year
  2. establish full-time residency for performing, developing new dances, and teaching
  3. further expand the Company’s involvement with dance education programs for minority and low-income communities

When you give to Freddick Bratcher and Company, your generous contributions help fund the various programs and activities that allow us to continue bringing quality dance to audiences throughout Florida, including:

  • CHOREOGRAPHY provides special support for the creation and presentation of new works to the Freddick Bratcher and Company repertory by both Artistic Director, Freddick Bratcher, and other guest choreographers, as well as support for the restaging of repertory works. A Storydance Project, as part of the Community Outreach, enables Emerging Artists with a vehicle to create new works and collaborate with the dancers.

  • COMMUNITY OUTREACH provides vital support for various projects that reach out to underserved communities, providing children and families with performances and programs that are easily-accessible and affordable, including:

  • Dance Education supports the Company mission to uphold the traditions of Modern and Contemporary American dance and to pass on this rich heritage to future dance professionals. Programs include lecture-demonstrations, workshops, master classes, and performances in public and private schools. These programs target underserved children and are designed to instill a lifelong appreciation of the arts through workshops, classes, and performance opportunities.
    Neighborhood Dance provides free and low cost performances at public libraries, parks, festivals, cultural arts centers, and theaters. As part of the Neighborhood Dance, the Company initiated A Storydance Project designed to bring stories to life through the art of contemporary dance, music and narration, and mainly targets children ages four to fourteen.
    Artist Residency offers minority and low-income community youth programs with master classes and choreography opportunities through extended residencies by Company members.

  • GENERAL OPERATIONS supports all of the essential programs and activities of the Company, including performances, collaborations, and the highly acclaimed Season Concert Series.
